Wireless...

Hey Guys!
Having some problems with my HP dv6000 laptop.....
Main problem is that wiriless doesn't work, computer just doesn't see it.... bluetooth is working properly, and Bluetooth device is seen, but the wireless LAN is not even shown in the wireless assistant.
So WHAT TO DO???? Downloading devices from hp.com didn't help......
