This is the 1664 issue of Thévenot's Relations, which consists of parts1 and 2. There is really only one edition of Thévenot's Relations, issued in five parts between 1663 and 1696. Part 1 was first issued in 1663, part 2 in 1664, part 3 in 1666, part 4 during 1672-1674, and part 5 in 1696. During the course of publication the parts of the collection already published were reissued with new title pages in 1664, 1666, 1672, 1683, and 1696. Some sheets were reprinted for these reissues. Another issue of the 1664 edition exists with part two printed in Paris by S. Cramoisy & S. Mabre-Cramoisy, 1664 (Lenox, 27 and Alden, 664/177)

There is a discussion of America in the "Avis", p. [7-11], 1st count; otherwise, the American interest in the series is contained largely in part 4, printed from 1672-1674.

"Description des pyramides d'Bgypte [sic], par Iean Greaves, professeur en astronomie en l'université d'Oort", listed last in the table of contents on p. [12], 1st count, as able to be bound at the beginning or the end of this volume, is bound as pages: pt. 1, i-xxv, [1], 2nd and 3rd counts.

Includes text in French, Italian, Greek, Chaldean, Japanese, Tagalog, Arabic, and an archaic wedge writing form, possibly Akkadian.
