Tagging and Ratings Guidelines

TAGGING
Your entry must be tagged with the following tags: type, artist, rating
• A correctly tagged post will look like this:
#fanfic, group: dgna, rating: pg
RATINGS
• You must also tag your entries with a ratings tag. The MPAA rating system is the standard the community follows. You can rate your fanwork "G," "PG," "PG-13," "R", or "NC-17." If the fanwork you are posting is rated "R" or "NC-17," your entry must be locked to the community. No other ratings are allowed.
Unlocked posts with fics or links to fics rated "R" will receive a warning and a period of 24 hours to be edited. Unlocked posts containing "NC-17" rated fics or links to NC-17" rated fics will be deleted immediately.
The standard MPAA rating system consists of: G, PG, PG-13, R, and NC-17.
G: For general audiences. No mentions of violence, sex, nudity, profanity, etc. If a young child is allowed to view your work, then this rating would be appropriate.
PG: There may be brief mentions of mild violence, nudity, horror, profanity, etc. Drug use and explicit sex scenes and/or sexual references are absent.
PG-13: May be inappropriate for pre-teens. There is no rough and/or persistent violence, sexually-oriented nudity, heavy drug use, intense profanity, etc.
R: Violence, nudity, sex, profanity, drug use, etc. is directly conveyed.
NC-17: Violence, nudity, sex, profanity, drug use, etc. is described and explored in explicit and graphic detail.
These are the only ratings allowed. If you label your entry with an alternate rating, you will be given a warning and a period of 24 hours to fix your rating.
• If you are posting more than one fic in one entry, please tag your entry with the highest rating.
• Because the comm represents so many fandoms, pairing tags will not be used.
POSTS THAT DO NOT FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES ARE SUBJECT TO DELETION. The mods may give a warning. If you are warned, you have 24 hours to edit your post. Posts that include NC-17 rated fanworks will be deleted immediately if they are not locked to the community. You may repost, but each deletion counts as a strike against you.
