Feeling very accomplished to have completed the 5-week mentorship at JankariTech, where I learned QA automation. During the mentorship, I wrote automated test scripts using TypeScript and worked with Playwright for browser automation. I then learned how to structure tests using the BDD approach with Cucumber and Gherkin, which helped me understand how to create readable and maintainable test scenarios. Special thanks to Kavita Gautam dd and Prashant Gurung dai for continuously guiding and mentoring us throughout the mentorship program.

We had to bid farewell to Madhavi Paudel, Sagun Sigdel and Ashish Gurung who were our mentees for 5 weeks. Special thanks to Kavita Gautam and Prashant Gurung, who were the main mentors this time! Last week a new batch of mentees has started at our office. In the next weeks they will learn a lot about QA in software development, Behaviour-Driven Development, writing tests that find bugs and making great coffee. It is very difficult to manage containerized applications at a large scale. 😓 When a container crashes, you need another container to spin up automatically. When there is high traffic, you require more containers to handle it. When you want to release a new version of an application, you want a way to update the running application without any downtime.
