Neptune Rising is launching our second phase of Operation Mars Attacks!
We are going to show our commitment to Veronica Mars and a Veronica Mars movie. Through this campaign we plan to show Warner Brothers what devoted fans we are and that we are not going away.
Every week we will be sending a special Veronica Mars package to Warner Brothers.
Each package will contain some lovely sweet Veronica Mars related confectionery that has been mentioned in quotes on the show.
The package each week will also contain stickers with our website and quote details on them, press clippings, mock VM movie poster flyers and mock VM movie tickets.
The packages will go out each week with the first commencing the week of the April 13.
There will be 6 packages in total with the last being our grand finale, Our "Everything but the Movie" package.
This extra special package is the icing on the cake. It will contain;
-A fake mini-mag with our posters and quotes about VM inside
-Microwave popcorn and movie theater candy with NR stickers on them
-A VM movie ticket
-A note saying something along the lines of "We've got everything but the movie. Please help us to get it!"
-A DVD of our members declaring their support for the VM movie
The weeks will be as follows
Week 1 Marshmallows
Week 2 Twinkies
Week 3 Mars Bars
Week 4 Snickerdoodles
Week 5 Kool Aid and Invisible Children merchandise
Week 6 "Everything But The Movie" package
What we need from YOU:
We have some wonderful members organising and sending of the the packages, but we still need donations from you! A different member shipping the packages each week, so please contact us in advance - neptunerisingforum@ymail.com
for address to send the items.
We can always use help in terms of shipping the packages off, so anything you can donate, however small, will be hugely appreciated. You can send donations to our paypal - NeptuneRising06@aol.com
We would also love to send your letters to the WB in support of the movie, please email them to neptunerisingforum@ymail.com and we will include them in the final package.
