It sounds complicated.

I've had the idea for a long time now to create some kind of an Arashi index, here in LJ. Not about the videos already subbed (we_make_storm, arashic_index and kazunari are already pretty amazing for that), but more about all the Arashi-related communities/journals. I would like to make a list of all the fansubs created until this day, to state if they are still active and if their membership is open or not, for example. But also, a list about all the fanworks, fanfictions, scans, etc., communities. (If you know what I mean?) It just... sounds complicated to do. Considering the HUGE number of communities/journals which principal interest is Arashi, it might take a while. Plus, I'm aware that some communities do not want their name to be shared publicly. Also, my next question would be, obviously: is this index really necessary? Would it help anyone? I think I just want to do it because I'm a statistics/organization freak; I like neat categorisation as it makes things easier for me to read as I compile. But yeah, I'll be happy if it has an actual purpose, other than writing it for myself.
This is just me thinking out loud, but if anyone has an opinion on it, I'll gladly hear it!
