Tuff and Stuff with your AfroPuffs!

So this is something that I have wanted to ask for some time.

When you go out to a club or bar or party and people are smoking. How do you get the smokey smell out of your hair. I have been growing my locs for 5 years and this is something that really bothers me. I cant wash and retwist my hair every time I go out. I heard something about vanilla extract but I dont know any hair sprays or oils with vanilla in them.

I just purchased a big jar of coconut oil to use as part of a natural deodorant recipe and I wanted to know if anyone has a recipe or suggestions on use for hair or skin? The jar says it's good for personal health use in addition to cooking and I'd never be able to use this big jar on just the deodorant batches alone. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
