After this story, Ambrose was dropped from the comic. He would return in the mid-1980s.

The title is Demon Dropout but the villain is only refered to by himself as being called Mad Chemist. He has an F as an emblem on his chest. No mention is made of what the F stands for except Pureheart calling him a Foul Fiend. Story is in two parts of eight pages and five pages, but pages are numbered 1 to 13.








A Samm Schwartz background gag apppears on a fence on page 2: one piece of graffiti reading "Dracula has false teeth" and another reading "I do not."
