Synopsis:

After a job in Morocco doesn't pan out, Selina returns to Gotham to find a big score. A colleague, Swifty, puts her in touch with Chantel, the companion of local mob boss Frank Falcone. Chantel overhead Falcone talking about a heroin deal with Canadian criminals. The deal involves 24 million dollars in dirty money transported via train to Canada. Selina decides the heist is attractive, but too big for a solo job. She decides to put together a team.

Synopsis:

Slam Bradley is trying to figure out what Selina is up to. He stakes out Swifty's Pawn Shop, and spots and identifies Chantel. Selina and Swifty get away. Slam decides to track down Chantel to see if she's connected. He finds her as Falcone is about to kill her, having tortured the heist plans from her. Slam kills Falcone's men, then beats Falcone till he learns what Falcone knows of the heist, and that Falcone has tipped off the train and the Canadian heroin dealer, LaPerier. He talks a sea plane pilot into flying him to the border. Meanwhile, LaPerier intercepts Swifty at the border.

Synopsis:

Selina, Stark, and Jeff board the train, take out the guards, and escape the train with the money. Swifty picks them up, but unknown to them LaPerier is on the boat with Swifty. LaPerier kills Jeff and then Swifty. Slam's plane buzzes the boat before LaPerier can kill Selina or Stark, who use the distraction to escape. LaPerier turns the boat back to the cove where Jean-Marc is waiting as the plane lands there. Jean-Marc kills the pilot, but is killed by Slam. Selina and Starkreboard the boat and confront LaPerier. Stark and LaPerier kill each other. Selina gets away with the score.

Synopsis:

Selina, after talking to Holly, has decided to become the protector of the East End. She beaks into the GCPD and makes copies of the police reports on the dead sex workers.
A man coming into an alley finds "Greg", covered in blood, sitting in a car with Mindy's corpse and yells for help. Selina arrives to find the car, the corpse, and "Greg's" bloody clothing, abandoned. She hides when the cops come and listens to the worker's story.

Meanwhile, "Todd" picks up another sex worker instead and takes her back to his place. He starts to lose control of the shape of his face and the woman runs out, panicking. As he starts to pursue, Selina arrives.

Selina sticks a tracer on a GCPD armored vehicle and follows it to a parking garage. She detonates it during the handoff, destroying the drugs it was carrying, then in the confusion steals the payment--millions in uncut diamonds.

Synopsis:

Selina offers Xavier Dylan the option to pay money to get his diamonds back. She fakes evidence that Officer Rickett is working for a rival mob.

MacNalty is sent after Slam Bradley; whose office is bugged by Bradley, Selina, and Allen. They get MacNalty to admit on tape that he shot the narc. Selina busts into the room as things start to get out of hand and MacNalty is shot.

Dylan is revealed to be working for Black Mask.

Selina breaks her out of police custody when she's being transported by armored vehicle. She gives her a passport and hair dye for her to get out of the country. She reveals herself to be Selina Kyle.

Rebecca remembers saving Selina from an attack by two boys when they were best friends in middle school. She thanks Selina and departs.

FBI agents monitor Tiglon's property when Catwoman shows up. She defeats or bypasses all the traps.
While Tiglon is distracted, Catwoman doubled-backs to the room Roark was held in. The Feds cut the power to disable the remaining traps so they can move in. They catch Tiglon, but Catwoman is gone, having saved Roark, and stolen the Bast Emerald.

Synopsis:

That evening, Catwoman moves to find out who's now in charge of the Alleytown Kids. She finds Sylvia Sinclair, who belonged to the Alleytown Kids with Selina when they were kids, had returned from prison and has reformed the gang.

Holly and Slam encounter Selina's sister, Maggie, who is back in Gotham, with her husband.

Synopsis:

They arrive late and miss Bruce Wayne, who gives the commemoration speech for the launch of her new building. They meet Slam, Leslie, and Sylvia Sinclair, who assures Selina that the Center is off-limits for the Alleytown Kids.

That evening, as Selina watches, the Community Center is blown up. When Maggie and Simon discuss the day's events at the train station, they get momentarily separated and two large men kidnap Simon.

Black Mask begins torturing Simon.

Synopsis:

Slam recovers in the hospital from the hit and run. Jeffo tells Selina that Xavier Dylan is working for someone higher up who is keeping his identity secret, and Dylan has skipped town to Central City.

Selina overtakes and boards the train and threatens Xavier. Xavier promptly tells Selina that the Black Mask is behind everything and wants revenge for her stealing his diamonds. He also tells Selina Sylvia Sinclair is working for them.

Holly is walking down a back alley when Alleytown Kids beat her. They are under orders from Sylvia to take her alive.

Synopsis:

Selina sets off a bomb she planted earlier to distract Black Mask as she breaks free of the chains. She knocks Black Mask off the balcony. Sylvia pulls a gun on Selina, but Holly shoots her before she can cause any more damage.

Dr. Thompkins informs Selina that Maggie has gone through some trauma and will need to stay in an asylum for a while.

Synopsis:

Slam tells Jonathan Craig that he's quitting the case. He then trails him to reveal Jonathan is digging a grave. Johnathan breaks down admitting he knew about the affairs, but he loved her anyways. She was getting ready to leave him so he'd rather kill her than let someone else have her.

Selina gets drunk and tries to rob a museum to distract herself. Batman confronts her, and they discuss the pain of loss.

Karon greets Selina at her apartment and tells Selina everything Holly has been going through. Selina immediately goes to talk to Holly and they both cry.

Synopsis:

Holly and Selina head out on a road trip for some needed rest and relaxation.

Selina takes Holly to a farm upstate Holly didn't know she owned. There they meet Ted Grant, who trained Catwoman and Batman. He starts raining Holly.

In New York City, Selina and Wildcat spot some Middle Eastern men breaking and entering. They seem to be after a statue. When the men are defeated, their bodies turn to ash and smoke. Selina puts the statue back on the alter after defeating the men and a flash from the statue knocks her over.

A man in the garb of the cultists from the previous issue gets a message from his follower that Selina was the one who stopped his soldiers earlier.

Synopsis:

Slam and Batman exchange words. Slam is jealous and provokes a fist fight, which he loses. Batman doesn't hold it against him. Slam feels contrite.

Holly and Selina are on their way to Opal City when they stop to get some food at a random truck stop. Two men stop by the joint and hold it up for money. Holly uses her new training to beat up their captors and they make away with a $100k in mob money. Selina gives some money to the waitress for her trouble who in turn helps her dump the men's bodies at a different truck stop.

Synopsis:

Holly and Selina arrive in Opal City. They run into Bobo Benetti who was an old criminal Selina ran into once, but he has now gone straight. The bartender tells her Davey, the contact Selina has been searching for, is no longer working at the bar.

That night, Selina is attacked by the cultists who have been bothering her recently. These are tougher. She is stabbed, and falls onto a cop car. One of the cops is Bobo, who helps her defeat the cultists. They vanish into dust once beaten.

Synopsis:

Holly and Selina are taking the train to St Roch. Ted Grant meets them at the tracks. Ted tells Selina that he can't find the temple hidden in a building where they originally encountered the cultists.

They end up at Hawkman and Hawkgirl's place. Carter Hall deduces they encountered the cult of Beti-Ma, whose history he explains. They think Selina has somehow gotten involved when she touched that statue.

Holly is waiting for Selina as she's late to meet her. She suddenly spots her long-lost brother Davey. Selina reveals the whole trip was planned as a surprise reunion.

Synopsis:

A local store owner, Jackie Dillon, is beaten to death with a baseball bat by the new mob. He had tried to prevent his son Denny from becoming a drug dealer, and wasn't paying protection money.

Selina learns that the Galante mob is involved and steals some of their money from a drop truck and burns the rest, hoping to make it too expensive for the mob to do business in the East End.

The Penguin tell a Galante lieutenant that taking the East End won't be east with Catwoman claiming it. He is informed that Galante is bringing in a specialist.

Zeiss "escapes" police custody.

Slam heads to a cemetery to make the money drop. When they see the kidnapped girl, Selina moves to take all the henchmen out. Zeiss watches from a distance to learn how Catwoman moves and fights. Slam spots him and is stabbed by Zeiss through his Kevlar jacket.

Outside of Penguin's apartment, two Beti-Ma soldiers watch the Penguin and Selina. Selina pushes the Penguin for information on Zeiss.

Selina watches Slam leave the hospital from the rooftops. She wants to use him as bait hoping Zeiss will come after him again. She spots Zeiss waiting for Slam at the subway, but Zeiss grabs Dex and keeps her at bay. He shoots several civilians on the train platform to show her she how little control she has over the fight. He throws Dex aside and jumps on a train leaving the two of them behind.

Holly and Slam track the fight to an East End rooftop. They find Batman investigating the scene. Selina is gone and all that is left is a pool of her blood on the ground and a broken pigeon coop.

Selina wakes up in fancy Middle Eastern garb in an Egyptian-styled palace. Her stab would is completely healed. Omari explains they are in the Palace of Beti. Omari is the chosen one of Maahes and Selina is the chosen one of Beti. They are to be wedded that night to reunite the warring tribes. When Selina attempts to leave, Hamadi knocks her out with a magic spell.

Selina and Omari fight through several waves of guards until they reach the exit. Omari kisses Selina and she passes out. She awakens on a train bound for Gotham City. A newspaper reveals she's been gone a month.

He receives burns extracting himself from the fire.

Barbarossa visits Zeiss in jail and tells him he's going to spring him. He wants him to be Junior Galante's personal bodyguard.

Spoiler explains that after Batman fired her from being Robin, she decided to prove her worth by implementing a Batman contingency plan to take over the gangs. But the plan failed because "Matches" Malone was a key player in it, and Stephanie hid her actions from Batman; not realizing that Matches was one of Batman's aliases.

Catwoman finally defeats Zeiss. She calls Oracle to get some police at the docks to take away Zeiss, but realizes that something is wrong when there is no reply.

Batman is distracted when he notices Black Mask on a nearby television, where he is broadcasting live from what he calls "The Batcave".
