Cover artist credits according to Scott Shaw at http://www.comicbookresources.com/columns/oddball/
While Jon D'Agostino could be the Johnny refered to on the cover I cannot help but see Paul Reinman in the villains. Johnny on the cover would then be publisher John Goldwater. http://darkmark6.tripod.com/mighty_index.html lists Vic Gorelick as a colorist of other Archie heroes during this time period thus the guess that he is the colorist and Vic mentioned on the cover. Don Markstein's Toonopedia lists the writer as Frank Doyle and artist as Bob White. A Bob and Bill are given credit on the cover of Jughead as Captain Hero #4. Vic Gorelick has denied coloring these characters. Cover is definitely Reinman pencils.
