in Deadman Omnibus (DC, 2020 series) (2020 [February 2021])According to a caption accompanying an interview of Neal Adams by Paul Levitz in the Winter 2013-2014 issue of Taschen Magazine, many of the faces on the cover belong to DC staffers. "Among them: Joe Letterese (left edge, below the "Featuring Deadman" banner), Jay Scott Pike (to the right of Joe Letterese), Ira Schnapp (to the right of Jay Scott Pike), Jerry Serpe (over Deadman's left shoulder), Jack Miller (to the right of Jerry Serpe), Jack Adler (to the left of Deadman's right hand), Ed Eisenberg (bottom left corner). Other faces include those that Adams drew in the style of Lee Elias (man directly below the speech balloon), or which evolved into his design for Batman villain Ra's al Ghul (8). Adams described one face (below and to the right of Lee Elias) as God."
