Description:
Appellaxian warriors were sent to Earth to see who could conquer it first, in order to determine who would become the new ruler of their homeworld. This drew the attention of some of Earth's mightiest heroes, who joined together to defeat the alien invaders. The group decided that they should form a permanent organization to combat similar threats in the future. They named their new team the Justice League of America.
