This feature name was first used for the ad that begins, "Gosh, Pud, wasn't it swell of Mom 'n' Pop... ", in comics dated July 1954. Ads featuring the same cast and premise began appearing in DC and Fawcett Comics of 1949 but those ads have NO header, logo, or featured name text at all.

Pud and his gang are featured in the Sunday-style strips.
