Space Family Robinson (English)

Notes:

Space Family Robinson (comic) and Lost in Space (TV series) were both based upon the 1812 novel, Swiss Family Robinson, by Johann David Wyss. Space Family Robinson the comic debuted in 1962 and predates Lost in Space by three years (1965). Instead of filing suit over the similarities to its comic, Gold Key and the production company behind the TV series reached an agreement, and the comic was retitled "Space Family Robinson: Lost in Space" in 1966 with the 15th issue. However, the SFR comic still had its own unique characters and continuity unrelated to the TV series.

With this in mind, Space Family Robinson should only be used for the comics from Gold Key and City Magazines (and their reprints).
