Jerry Bails suggested to compare (c.f.) the A. Jay pen name used by Jaffee with the work only initialed as A. J. which appeared on comics at Hillman.

He received the National Cartoonists Society Best Advertising and Illustration award in 1973.

- Jason daily ? or Sunday ? (unknown syndicate) as a writer from 1971 to sometime beyond 1974 [May have been solicited but never picked up by any syndicate. Not the same as the 1945 to 1947 Prize comic book feature.]
- Tall Tales (New York Herald-Tribune) as a writer and artist from 1958 to 1965
He was the creator of the Mad Fold-In (English) and various characters/features, including Ziggy Pig, Silly Seal, Waldo, and Ferdie.
Additional notes on his career:
• Jaffee did support work as an editor for Marvel (Timely) from 1948 to 1949.
• His work on the feature Wun Wing Spin for Hillman in 1942, may have been through Ed Cronin's packaging service.
• Jaffee did miscellaneous scripts for Dan De Carlo and others while as an editor at Marvel (Timely), per Bails' Who's Who, circa 1949 to circa 1953, details of all the stories done are not fully known.
• From 1964 to 1966, Jaffee assisted on the Little Annie Fanny (English) feature that appeared in Playboy (Playboy, 1953 series).
• Jaffee did pencil and ink cartoon work for satire magazines, dates and details of what is not yet fully known.
