• He was restored to normal in issue #356 (October 1966).
• Alfred's surname, Pennyworth, was revealed in Batman (DC, 1940 series) #216 (November 1969).
• It was revealed in Detective Comics (DC, 1937 series) #502 (May 1981) that Alfred had an illegitimate daughter, named Julia Remarque, with Mademoiselle Marie; Julia indicated that she uncovered the truth in issue #532 (November 1983).
