Name:

    Robotman

Description:

After scientist Robert Crane was fatally shot, his brain was placed inside a robot body. Because Crane had to remain legally dead in order for his assailants to be charged with his murder, Robotman created a new civilian identity, Paul Dennis.

Many decades later, Robotman learned that his friend Chuck Grayson had his body frozen when he died. Robotman's brain was transplanted into Chuck's body, giving him a second chance at life as an ordinary man.

Notes:

The original Robotman (Robert Crane/Paul Dennis) first appeared in Star Spangled Comics (DC, 1941 series) #7 (April 1942). Decades later, his brain was transplanted into the body of Chuck Grayson, as shown in DC Comics Presents (DC, 1978 series) #31 (March 1981).
