Member of the Secret Society of Super-Villains. Formerly Jack of Spades of the Royal Flush Gang.
The Wizard sent Hi-Jack to Limbo in a fit of anger. He was returned to Earth under unrevealed circumstances.
Notes:
Jack of Clubs first appeared in Justice League of America (DC, 1960 series) #43 (March 1966). He changed his name to Jack of Spades in The Joker (DC, 1975 series) #5 (January-February 1976). He first appeared as Hi-Jack in Secret Society of Super-Villains (DC, 1976 series) #2 (July-August 1976), and was sent to Limbo by the Wizard in issue #4 (November-December 1976). Hi-Jack was next shown in prison in Justice League of America (DC, 1960 series) #167 (June 1979); his return from Limbo was not explained. He returned as Jack of Spades in Wonder Woman (DC, 1942 series) #256 (June 1979). His real name was revealed to be Jack, and he returned to the Jack of Clubs identity, in JLA: Classified (DC, 2005 series) #22 (Early July 2006). He last appeared in issue #24 (August 2006).
