He had taken so many things away from him.
His job security. His hand. His Darla. His life as he knew it.
And it only made sense that he would be able to take something away from the vampire.
He just hadn’t expected the opportunity to come so soon and to be so perfect.
He had gone to the bar to drink away his rage like he had started to do a lot recently. He hadn’t expected to see her there, drinking away her own anger at being fired and tossed aside by someone she had considered a friend. He hadn’t expected for her to even give him the time of day considering that they were mortal enemies. And he sure as hell hadn’t expected her to agree to leave with him.
An eye for an eye.
He just wished he could be there to see the vampire’s face when he received the package and placed the tape in his VCR.
To see his precious Girl Friday grinding on top of him. To hear her moans and whimpers. To see her nails digging into his shoulder blades, near the point of drawing blood.
He’d give anything to see the rage, the disappointment in the man’s eyes. The look of utter betrayal as he watched the girl for whom he had longed trembling in pleasure underneath his worst enemy.
Angel had had his fun taking from Lindsey from the very first moment he had set foot inside Wolfram and Hart, and now it was his turn.
You could only take so much from one person until there was nothing left but payback.
And payback had never felt so damn good.
