UPDATE: Springer Nature (Springer Nature) has recently introduced improvements to this journal's manuscript tracking system, designed to streamline your accounts with Springer Nature journals and provide you with more information in one place.
When you log in, you may be asked to link together your login for several journals, and to confirm your details. This is a quick process, you will only need to do this once, and once your accounts are linked you will be able to:
- Access any journal accounts without having to log-in multiple times,
- Update your profile information from a single location,
- View the status of all manuscripts, post-decision articles, published articles, and articles you are reviewing in one convenient location.
Open access
Journal of Antibiotics is a hybrid journal. Authors can choose to publish using either the subscription publishing route OR via immediate gold Open Access through payment of an article-processing charge (APC).
Authors may need to take specific actions to achieve compliance with funder and institutional open access mandates. If your research is supported by a funder that requires immediate open access (e.g. according to Plan S principles) then you should select the gold OA route, and we will direct you to the compliant route where possible. For authors selecting the subscription publication route, the journal's standard licensing terms will need to be accepted, including self-archiving policies. Those licensing terms will supersede any other terms that the author or any third party may assert apply to any version of the manuscript.
