Continental Drift in its new hour long format, and we’re into Edition four. So for this episode I’ve kept the whole feel relatively ambient, with some interesting electronica from Ryoji Ikeda and Merrin Kerras to keep things together. I like to include a few classics, so on Edition four I‘ve used A Clearing from one of my Favourite Eno Albums - Ambient 4 On Land, I’ve also dropped in a track by Jim Morrison from his classic An American Prayer album. Biosphere recently released a great Album of field recordings called The Senja recordings, I have used a few tracks of interest here. On this particular edition I don’t have a favourite track but I do like the feel and flow of this mix, I think it works really well and as always I’ve included some of my signature movie dialogue and EFX sound bytes to keep the listener interested.

I really enjoy the method of compiling the Continental Drift series, especially with the movie soundbytes. Most definitely Colin, one of my mixes took me a year to complete and the way the talking came and went made a lot of sense to me. I appreciate perfection when I hear it §
