This mix revolves around one of my favorite labels My Love Is Underground and similar underground deep house labels and vibes.
I’ve always loved the raw unpolished sound and tracks from the great pioneers such as Moodymann and Kerri Chandler strongly relating to this mix. Although this mix doesn’t include any of their tracks I guess you can hear ”my roots in house music” coming from that era and style and inspiration from their early work. Maybe I’ll make a mix with similar vibes from 90’s deep house in the future.

I would be nowhere near my current level without the really deep diving conversations on the history, music and the culture with Juho. (I am not meaning to say I think I’m good but trying to say how meaningful it has been, still a long way to achieve my goals)
