Humberto Garza Cañamar. Alma
En la tierra de luces; patria de Alma, hay norias que reflejan nubes que pasan, nubes viajeras, proclamando en el cielo: �Ella... se ausenta.� Alma nació mirando un sicomoro, que se agitaba en sombras llenas de polvo, llenas de olvidos, sobre cántaros grandes hechos añicos. Hoy ha crecido y tiene en la mirada una provincia grande llena de calma, con arboledas casi sentimentales como las huertas. Lleva inmóvil estrella sobre su rostro, y resplandor de hierba fijo en los ojos. Los surtidores en irisadas aguas muestran su nombre. alma, dirá algún día: -Poeta ausente hoy recuerdo tus charlas y afuera llueve. Mi vida escucha... ¡No es la lluvia de antes, es otra lluvia! Yo la veré de lejos, mientras declamo para jóvenes tristes de pelo largo, mi Poesía... ¡En el espacio grande de la otra vida.!
