The wolf armor is an armor item for tamed wolves. It is a dyable armor that can be is crafted with armadillo scutes.

Usage
Using wolf armor on a tamed wolf will cause the wolf to equip it, in a similar manner to horse armor. While a wolf is using wolf armor, it gains 11 (
× 5.5) armor points. In order to remove armor from the wolf, the player has to right click the wolf using shears, which grants the "Shear Brilliance" achievement.
Dyeing wolf armor
Wolf armor can be dyed using the cauldron. Similar to dying of leather armor, several colors can be used at once to create various shades.
