Talaxian mushroom soup is a type of food preparation, a mushroom soup of Talaxian origin.
The Talaxian traveler Neelix put particular effort into refining a recipe of this type during his time as chef aboard USS Voyager, after First Officer Chakotay gave him the impression that mushroom soup was one of his favorite foods. Neelix's recipe included Talaxian pigweed shallots that were grown with Nezu candy-tufted mud fungus and precooked with Bolian tingle butter, and then made into a soup with herbs and vegetables.
