T'Ana

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow: The following content contains spoilers!

Doctor T'Ana was a 24th century Caitian woman, an officer of Starfleet in the 2380s decade who served as CMO of the Federation starship USS Cerritos under Captain Carol Freeman. (LD episode: "Second Contact")

Biography

She was known for using profanity and having an acerbic bedside manner. She was skilled in the fields of science and command as well as medicine. (ST video game: Timelines)

T'Ana enjoyed roleplaying games. At one point she portrayed a murderer plotting to kill an heiress at a holodeck mystery party. Ensign D'Vana Tendi was the heiress. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive episode: "Threshold My Beer")

T'Ana became romantically involved with Shaxs Drazon, sharing private stories such as losing her tail and teaming up for roleplay escapades on the holodeck like pulling Bonnie and Clyde-style bank robberies. (LD episode: "Room for Growth", ST video game: Timelines)

She also enjoyed rock climbing. (LD episode: "wej Duj")

T'Ana frequently added a coat to her uniform, similar to that worn by Dr. Beverly Crusher. The newly arrived Tendi was assigned to assist Nurse Westlake but worked directly for T'Ana in a crisis. During a viral outbreak, Westlake was infected. Doctor T'Ana and her team had him and other infected and injured crewpeople strapped down in sick bay's biobeds. The antidote was spread through the ship in gaseous form and healed the survivors instantaneously. (LD episode: "Second Contact")

She guided Tendi during the ensign's tenure in medical, eventually recommending her for senior science officer training and becoming Tendi's personal mentor. (LD episodes: "First First Contact", "Mining the Mind's Mines")

Trapped on the holodeck

In 2381, T'Ana was among the Cerritos crew who got trapped by the malevolent artificial intelligence Badgey on the holodeck. During the lower deckers' effort to earn enough merit points for Badgey to release them, T'Ana oversaw the Genesis Planet scenario alongside Counselor Gabers Migleemo. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive)

During one of Badgey's drills, lower deckers evolved into giant slugs. After restoring Tendi, T'Ana left her and Migleemo to treat the others while she went back to a party. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive episode: "Threshold My Beer")

In another, she and Tendi were sent to Risa on vacation, where they were invited to a party by Klingon thugs who stole their clothes. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive episode: "One Rave and Two Sights")

A lightning strike during an emergency transporter rescue rematerialized her with her body at the age of five. Before D'Vana Tendi was able to restore her to normal, T'Ana enjoyed playing with balls of yarn. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive event: "Little Rascals")

Black marketers stole T'Ana's lungs using a portable micro-transporter, and she was forced to hang out in Cetacean ops with Matt and Kimolu while breathing through gills. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive mission: "Rage")

Alternate timelines

In an alternate timeline, T'Ana was pulled into the temporal anomaly crisis. Among the equipment she brought to bear in away team missions were a medical tricorder, PADD, star chart, coffee, scalpel, and a medicine bundle. A variation of her roleplaying as a bank robber was also drawn into the anomaly. That version wielded a revolver, palm beacon, and a stun grenade. (ST video game: Timelines)
