The Satoki Nebula was a nebula in the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant.
History and specifics
In the year 2372, a Federation observatory station was located near the nebula, with the purpose of studying a protostar in the nebula. When the shield generator of the observatory failed, the crew were exposed to high levels of radiation. They were rescued by the USS Defiant and taken to Deep Space 9 for treatment.
