Robin Brady

Robin Brady was a Human Starfleet ensign from Colorado serving in the late 23rd century. He was part of a starship bridge simulation cadet group, whose "captain" was Cadet David Forester. (SA video game: Starfleet Academy)

Biography

Early life

Robin came from a family that boasted five Starfleet servicemen in their past and Brady initially had a job working on weather control satellite thruster systems. He learned to disassemble and repair warp drives on the USS Rio Grande. He wasn't sure whether he'd follow the family tradition until eventually he decided he wanted to serve, and entered the Starfleet Academy. He didn't really belong there, as he found Starfleet too "socially complex"; shy and insecure, he didn't like to be noticed, and he seemed to pair only with his roommate, David Forester.

In the Starfleet Academy Command School he was chosen for the role of Forester's engineer, not only because of his talents, but also because Forester could associate better with his friend. (TOS novel: Starfleet Academy)

During the social interactions in the cadet lounge, Brady was approached by impressive-looking cadet Faith Gage, sparking comments from the cadets of his team. Geoffrey Corin however also pursued Gage. Following this, Brady was out of touch with his team. Forester failed to find him and attend the phys ed match. (SA novelization: Starfleet Academy)
