In 2371, Quark served fresh regova eggs to Ulani Belor and Gilora Rejal, although the two Cardassian Science Ministry scientists did not particularly like Cardassian cuisine. (DS9 episode: "Destiny")

In 2375, a Federation reporter visiting a Hebitian tomb on Cardassia Prime commented that the ornate finger-rings in the tomb could buy a year's worth of regova eggs. (ST - New Worlds, New Civilizations short story: "The Glories of the Hebitians")
