The Orb of Unity was one of the Orbs of the Prophets sent to the Bajorans. It was seized by the Cardassians during the Occupation of Bajor.
In August of 2376, the Orb of Unity was recovered from an Obsidian Order storage facility on Cardassia along with three other Orbs by Yevir Linjarin, with help from Elim Garak and Akellen Macet. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Cathedral)
In September of the same year, it was used by Elias Vaughn for his second orb experience (DS9 novel: Unity)
