M. Michaels was a Human Starfleet officer in the 23rd century.
In the 2290s decade, Captain Michaels was assigned to command of the Federation starship USS Challenger. In the year 2293, Challenger was proposed to join Operation Retrieve from a start point in sector 21166, under Michaels's command. (TOS movie: The Undiscovered Country)
- The Operation Retrieve info was a series of charts created as set dressing by the production artists and decorators, and as such was not all distinctly visible on screen.
