Lord was a title of nobility.

History and specifics

A translation of this title was used by Klingon nobility, including military personnel.

In the year 2281, Krazz was called Lord by his subordinates while in turn referring to his superior, Tolz Kenran, as Lord. (TOS novel: Dwellers in the Crucible)

When he seized power at Elba II in the year 2268, Garth of Izar bestowed upon himself the titles of "lord" and "master of the universe". (TOS episode: "Whom Gods Destroy")
