Biography
When the Enterprise unexpectedly shipped out of Earth's orbit in 2270, following the theft of the top secret dreadnought prototype USS Star Empire, Scanner introduced himself to a number of fellow junior officers that had been hastily assigned to share quarters in light of the rush to bring crew personnel aboard and begin pursuit. This meeting included Piper, Sarda, Merete AndrusTaurus and Telosirizharcrede. (TOS - Fortunes of War novel: Dreadnought!)
