The Frunalian system was a star system, situated somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics
This system was the location of the moon Orelte, which was the planetary homeworld of the Frunalian civilization.
In the 2290s decade, the Federation discovered large quantities of stable rubindium on one of the inner planets of the star system surrounding Orelte. After lengthy negotiations with the Frunalians, the Federation were able to gain mining rights, thanks in part to diplomat Alexandra Tremontaine. (TOS - Crucible novel: The Fire and the Rose)
