Durango was a male Tellarite Federation Starfleet officer and captain of the USS Merced in 2380s.
Biography
Durango and Carol Freeman served together aboard the USS Illinois. (LD episode: "Moist Vessel")
Durango's Christmas parties were legendary, according to Freeman, but he wasn't fun to be around except at his parties. Durango was also known for speaking excessively. He shared Brad Boimler's enthusiasm for model trains. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive event: "Welcome to the Party, Pals")
In 2380, Durango was in charge of Merced and Cerritos's joint assignment to tow a generation ship. His ego prompted him to readjust Merced to a more prominent-looking position, but adjusting the ship's finely-tuned tractor beam disrupted the generation ship, forcing terraforming emulsion to spill all over the ship, causing heavy damage. He and his crew were rescued by Cerritos transporters before they could be killed. (LD episode: "Moist Vessel")
In 2381, Badgey ran a holodeck drill set in which Merced and Cerritos were both docked at the Remmler Array. A simulation of Durango hosted Cerritos's crew to a "winter wonderland" Christmas party while Cerritos underwent a baryon sweep. When Krampus took everyone hostage, Durango gave his henchmen spiked egg nog to knock them out. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive event: "Welcome to the Party, Pals")
