Biography
Burns was a qualified space-ore expert, and while exploring an uncharted planet in Galaxy Zekbran, he and his coworker Lane were temporarily transformed into children by an age-ray which later affected Kirk and McCoy. (TOS comic: "The Youth Trap")
Burns served aboard the Enterprise in the quartermaster section in the Christmas season in 2269 when he was the recipient of a drunken conversation from Lieutenant Nyota Uhura. (TAS - Log Two novelization: The Survivor)
