Burnhard was a 23rd century Human man. He served in Starfleet as a helmsman aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise in the 2260s decade under the command of Captain James T. Kirk.
Biography
In the year 2267, Burnhard was a member of the bridge crew. During a visit to an unnamed planet, Kirk was overcome by a group mind and imagined Burnhard was manning the helm station. Kirk asked him to set course for Starbase 15. However, the bridge was empty at that moment. (TOS - The New Voyages short story: "The Winged Dreamers")
- Burnhard's rank wasn't specified, but manning the helm station means he was probably a lieutenant, ensign or possibly held an enlisted grade.
