Legacy

Professor Jeremy Grayson, a later peace advocate, considered Doctor Spock a predecessor. When Spock met Grayson, one of his maternal ancestors, after being sent back in time to Earth in the year 2045, the professor asked if the two were related. Grayson then decided to call Spock "Ben" in the late doctor's honor. (TOS novel: Strangers from the Sky)

While visiting the USS Enterprise in 2269, Roberta Lincoln, a time traveller from 1969, accidentally referred to Spock as "Dr. Spock" on two occasions. (TOS novel: Assignment: Eternity)

The Doctor also considered taking the name "Spock" in honor of the famed physician. (VOY episode: "Ex Post Facto")

The book Legends of the Ferengi makes reference to a Ferengi childcare expert named "Posck", whose name is an anagram of "Spock".
