Patients may present with an abnormal pulse,
paresthesias, hoarseness, dysphagia, and/or dyspnea.
Paresthesias and numbness was present in 7/49 (14.29%) cases, hyperpigmentation in 6/49 (12.24%), myalgias in 3/49 (6.12%) and carpopedal spasm in 2/49 (4.08%) cases.
"
Paresthesias have been poorly tolerated by some patients, but this effect was not observed in a trial with high-frequency stimulation," explained Paul J.
On October 31 at 3:00 a.m., approximately 7 hours after eating the grouper at restaurant B, patient A experienced acute onset of paradoxical temperature perception,
paresthesias, extremity numbness, a metallic taste, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, arthralgia, and myalgia.
We report a case of a 34 year-old man with antecedents of meningitis in childhood, without any treatment at home, who came into our clinic for unsteady gait, difficulty in walking, distal motor deficit, numbness and
paresthesia of his lower limbs.
Paresthesias which relieved spontaneously were 2% in Abouleish while we had reported 6%.
Background: Commonly used methods of performing peripheral nerve blocks include elicitation of
paresthesia and motor response to an electrical stimulus.
* can be accompanied by
paresthesias and myoclonic jerks while awake.
Eight case-patients (36%) reported
paresthesias and 7 (32%) had neuropathic pain during or after meningitis (Table 2).
They may also have
paresthesias and transient muscle weakness in that arm, most commonly affecting the deltoid.
The mass measured approximately 1.5 cm x 0.5 cm, and percussion over it produced distal
paresthesias that radiated into the little finger.
Clinically, a patient with lymphomatous involvement of the trigeminal ganglion may present with headaches, trigeminal
paresthesias, lacrimation, conjunctival injection, rhinorrhea, ptosis, and diplopia.
