anime, cons and the election!
For anime fans and fans of Sakurai Takahasi , Part 1 of Switch the OVA is out. I've watched it and it's a bit slow but hey, I adore Takahashi-san. Iit has his Maou/Kanda voice rather than the Misaki/Yuuri voice! Actually he plays the more senior role here, rather than the kid.
Speaking of Misaki, Junjou ep 3 is now out (the subbed version). I really love Misaki! But I'm not sure what I feel for Haruhiko... what is going through his mind and doesn't he ever smile?
Still no subbed versions of KKM... but I made an icon :points: from my boxset. I've caught up with Mouryou no hako but I think it's just one of those animes that you really have to listen carefully and pay full attention to get it. I simply am losing the plot! There's too many characters and the only voice I recognise is Miki Shinichiro , who's Shin-ou's seiyuu. I can't even recognise Morikawa Toshiyuki nor do I know if his character has been introduce!

I don't have much to add...
I enjoyed myself and had fun meeting the guests. I spent the cocktail night chatting up Crispin Freeman and asking him questions about anime/voice acting, and thus being introduced to his wife and Jonny Bosch. I didn't talk much to David or Kavan except in the autograph queue. Both were delightful as are Gary Jones and Doug Jones. I loved Andee Frizell whom I spoke at length to (or rather she spoke a lot) in the autograph queue. We were discussing the Melbourne cup and all the well dressed men in town!

I also wanted to say: good luck to all the Americans on my flist who are going to vote! I am rather excited by this election though I'm not sure when I'll find out the results... but I suppose tomorrow night or Thursday morning, I'll wake up and see a new President! :)
