The White Tiger is a mystic warrior fighter who serves as the avatar of the Tiger God being empowered by the Amulets of Power. Hector Ayala became the White Tiger after finding the Amulet of Power that had been rejected by the Sons of the Tiger. He dedicated his life to being a vigilante in New York City, becoming one of the most prominent Latino super-heroes. Tragically, the White Tiger was killed by the authorities following a misunderstanding during a judicial crisis. His niece, Angela Del Toro, stepped in to honor the legacy of the White Tiger, but ended up being corrupted by the Hand. Most prominently, Ava Ayala, the original White Tiger's younger sister, has acted as a White Tiger in a complex relationship with the Tiger God that empowers her. As a young heroine, she was a cadet of Avengers Academy and eventually joined the Mighty Avengers.
