In this reality, Prince Namor and his nation of Atlantis launched an invasion of the surface world, beginning with Latveria. The Atlanteans would have conquered the world, if not for the intervention of the Exiles, who helped the monarch of Latervia Doctor Doom to repell the invaders, with Namor losing his life in battle.
