Marewrew is a female vocal group whose goal is breathe new life into the traditions of Ainu songs called
"Upopo".
They mainly perform a capella in the style of round singing.
In 2020, Marewrew received international attention for a feature in the Netflix movie “Ju-On: Origins.”
