Rainbow Eye Tutorial Pt. 2
I was asked by a few gals to switch around the colours from my previous rainbow eye. I've had so much time lately, so I went ahead and did it, and also tried making the colours more vibrant!
Excuse the brows, I seem to have misplaced my tweezers :[ Also, I did this pretty fast because the battery icon on my camera was red, eep!
Everything I used:
MAC shadesticks in: Corn, Crimsonaire, Lucky Jade, Sea Me & Beige-Ing
MAC eyeshadows in: Gorgeous Gold & Oceanique
MAC pigments in: Orange, Acid Orange, Bright Fuchsia, White, Golden Olive, RR Blue & Violet
Ben Nye Lumiere Luxe Powders in: Cherry Red, Sun Yellow, Chartreuse & Cosmic Blue
Lancome Hypnose Mascara in Black
MAC Smoulder eye kohl
MAC 15 Minutes lipstick & Uberpeach chromeglass
MAC Shimpagne MSF
First, of course, start off with bare lids. I only wore mascara before the tut, and I didn't feel like washing it off, but starting with an entire clean eye is probably best. My lids are already primed up for eyeshadow application.
Corn shadestick is applied to the inner and part of the middle lid. I apply it right from the stick, and if need be, I smooth it out with a brush.
Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow is applied over Corn.
Crimsonaire shadestick applied to the outer half of the lid.
Bright Fuchsia pigment is added over Crimsonaire.
Orange pigment is added on the middle part of the lid.
BLEND :D This eye looked better.
So far...
Violet pigment is added on the very outer part of the lid, or the outer "v"
Sun Yellow, Acid Orange, Cherry Red & more Violet are added, and then all blended together. (When I want to blend, I apply the darker colour first, then I can sweep my brush over the lighter part to the darker part to help with blending)
A mixture of Violet & Pink Pearl pigment is added to the crease and blended into the Bright Fuchsia/Cherry Red
Corn shadestick is applied to the inner, lower lashline and I add Sun Yellow over that.
Lucky Jade shadestick is applied to the middle, lower lashline and I have Chartreuse and Golden Olive pigment over that.
Sea Me shadestick is applied to the outer, lower lashine with Blue pigment and Cosmic Blue added on top of that.
Other eye :) I also added a little bit of Violet pigment to the outer "v" and blended it into the blue.
Beige-Ing shadestick & Oceanique eyeshadow are applied under the brow and blended down into the colour.
Mascara-ararara.
Smoulder eye kohl is added to the upper and lower waterline.
Finished look:
