Sat, 14:34: TMW you discover that most plastic parts on your car’s front end were broken & jury-rigged back into place by a previous owner just enough to make a 1 hour job (replacing a few light bulbs) take 3+ hours and use up all your bubble gum & baling wire, if you’re lucky. 🤬😡🤯🛠💡
Sat, 15:38: OMG COLD HANDS! I wish these bulbs had blown in summer! The people who changed them before me cannot have watched the youtubes about it. They broke plastic where they should have loosened hidden screws. Which I know because plastic bits fell when I loosened those screws.
Sat, 15:57: 1(!) bulb done of 3 originally planned to be replaced (“marker” lights needed to pass inspection). I don’t ever want to have to deal with this mess again so I’ll be getting and installing a bunch more LED bulbs before I put it all back together. And no driving until then. *argh*
