I just read an article in the Bloomberg Business Week about how much CEO make and I'm totally disgusted by some of these paycheck! The highest earning CEO is Leslie Moonves from CBS with a salary of $43,238,875. That is disgusting. What could a person possible do to deserve that much money? Doesn't seem right to me.
Then there are CEO who seem like they should probably be making more money. Like Eric Schmidt of Google, who makes $245,322. Dos it seem like someone who is the CEO for one of the most widely used search engines should make more than that?
These are two very different salary extremes for CEOs. It makes we wonder how exactly salary is decided in these companies.
Personally, I'd be happy to be either one of these CEOs right now. I'm two months into a new apartment and a year away from my wedding. So far I've got $1500 saved and my fiance just got laid-off. Not lookin so hot.
