​Welcome to the OpenAI Codex Community Hackathon in Kochi - bringing together some of the most ambitious builders in the region to go beyond prompts and start orchestrating intelligent systems.

👤 This is an individual-style hackathon, not a team event.
Participants will build and compete individually.


Build Directions

​If any of these ideas excite you, we want you in the room:

• ​Agentic Coding: Build developer tools that maximize leverage from Codex as an AI coding agent.

• ​UX for Agentic Applications: Design AI-native interfaces and workflows for agent-driven software.

• ​Multimodal Intelligence: Create applications that reason across multiple modalities.

• ​Domain Agents: Build vertical agents that operate within real-world constraints.

• ​Building Evals: Develop tools to measure, debug, and improve agent performance.

​🥇 1st Place — $3,000 USD in OpenAI API credits
🥈 2nd Place — $2,000 USD in OpenAI API credits
🥉 3rd Place — $1,000 USD in OpenAI API credits

In addition, the top 5 winners will receive one year of ChatGPT Pro.

​This event is organized by OpenAI Codex Ambassadors. This is a community-driven initiative supported by OpenAI.

​​​​​Just a few quick reminders to help the day run smoothly:

​1) Approval is on an individual basis

• ​If you didn’t receive this email, it means you’re not approved.

• ​Because space is limited, we’ll only be able to admit approved participants.

​2) Arrival timing

• ​Registration opens at 7:30pm, and we’ll begin at 8:00pm sharp.

• ​To keep things fair for everyone, check-in closes at 8:00pm and we won’t be able to admit late arrivals.

​3) In-person event

• ​This is an in-person-only event.

• ​If your plans change or you can’t arrive by 8:00pm, we’d really appreciate you cancelling your spot so someone on the waitlist can join.

• ​We do keep track of no-shows to help us plan future community events fairly.
