St Columbkille's, Rutherglen

Everyone is welcome to attend these talks. They will be held on the below dates all beginning at 7pm in the church hall. The full programme is as follows: 10th March - Intellectual honesty - He spoke the truth as he saw it. 17th March - Spiritual depth - He was a man who humbly walked with God. 24th March - Proclamation of the Gospel - A great writer and preacher. 31st March - Pastoral care - A kind shepherd of souls. The first 3 talks will focus on Newman's three conversions: 1816, 1833, 1845. The last talk will focus on St John Henry Newman's importance today - what he can teach us as we try to follow Christ in the modern world.
