    The premise of this book is a system integration where a C grade being has Purchased Earth's universe. That setup leads to a political/drama heavy setting - not my cup of tea. Our protagonist is very Dao focused and this is at odds with the system itself and those running it. The pacing is very confusing. In the first few chapters the writing seems like hours are passing, then as we meet other ppl they act like it's been days. The inconsistency and confusion around the passage of time is an ongoing issue. There's a massive plot hole around the exchange of information after the integration. As usual, all tech stops working and the populus is reliant on the system. However somehow our protagonist is famous, and others on the system's leaderboards are famous. Somehow the few million on the planet know everything going on with those of high level and power.

    Unless you really enjoy scheming, conflict, and power drama.. I would not recommend this one unfortunately.

    The premise for the story is really good but that’s about it, got half way through before giving up. One of the biggest issues early on is the timeline, apparently there are several characters that go on murder sprees that make Genghis khan look tame all within a day of the world ending. The tournament arc was not needed and generally violated the standard system integration format, which would have been okay if it also didn’t contradict some of the earlier lore. Then you have the system blatantly cheating for some reason even though it’s a system.
