12500+ copies in 20 hours, more than a year after release. There’s no secret sauce here. We just managed to line up several things at the right time: a Steam Daily Deal at 70% off, a prominent spot on the Steam Train Fest, and a creators campaign with Jestr. As I’m writing this, Beholder: Conductor is sitting at 800 CCU and still growing. It ain't much but Its launch peak year ago was 1,348. The game also climbed to #128 in Steam’s Global Top Sellers. On top of that, the Jestr campaign has generated 2.9M views so far. Not bad for a game that is already well past its launch window. What I like about this result is that it shows just how much audience is still out there on Steam. Even after more than a year of sales, discounts, and various fests, there are still plenty of people who might enjoy your game but simply haven’t seen it yet. And yes, this seems to be mostly a new audience, because wishlist conversion during this push makes me a little sad. You don’t always need a huge update or some completely new marketing trick. Sometimes a strong discount, the right Steam event, and an extra push outside Steam (all happening at the same time) are enough to give a game another strong moment. A good result for Beholder: Conductor, and a useful reminder for us to keep looking for these opportunities long after launch.

A bit late, but here’s my BitSummit and Japan trip recap! BitSummit has a unique atmosphere with a real focus on indie games, It's really different from the larger industry events. Together with Natalie Mukhortova, representing Alawar, we had the opportunity to meet both existing partners and many new great people, discover interesting games, and learn more about the Japanese and Asian indie game market. We also got to play a lot of games during the event. Some of the highlights for me were Dave the Diver VR, The Free Shepherd, Apopia, Chronosphere, Midnight Horde, Dr. Oops, The 60 Seconds Syndrome and more! We stopped by the CRITICAL REFLEX booth and tried TANUKI: Pon's Summer as well as the incredibly immersive I Am Not A Human, where you literally have to look through a peephole and decide whether to open the door to strangers - so fun! The tinyBuild GAMES booth was another highlight. There was a setup where you literally could play Graveyard Keeper 2 while lying inside a coffin. Comfy! It was also my first time in Japan, and I absolutely loved it. During the trip I managed to visit Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo, and of course it was an honor to see Great Mt. Fuji in Fujikawaguchiko (got to wake up at 5 am to see it) ! Thank you to everyone we met during the event hopefully seeing you again soon! Arigatou gozaimasu! 🏯 #Bitsummit #Kyoto #Japan

We’re excited to officially announce Wall World Strategy, a new game set in the Wall World universe. This project marks a new direction for us. Instead of a pixel-art roguelite, Wall World Strategy is a colony simulation and strategy game focused on interconnected systems, long-term decision-making and resource management under pressure. Players build and lead a colony on the vertical surface of the Wall – managing infrastructure, population, and technological development while facing constant external threats. Every decision directly affects the stability of the colony and its ability to survive. https://lnkd.in/emd-xG8S
